Takes courage to lay your heart and your personal life out there. It is very raw, i feel that for you.
Be there, tell him you will be alright if he goes, give him peace, listen.

    Hugs, from BC.

I am so sorry to hear the news about your Dad, Sonia! Stay strong, spend as much time as possible with your Dad and, when the time comes, let him no that it is okay for him to go. It is a hard thing to do but it will help your Dad let go. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you go through this terribly difficult time. Remember that love never leaves us; it lives on in our hearts, minds and souls……………………

Sonia, Dad’s are an amazing group of people, and when they are gone, it is so sad. But Dad’s like yours leave amazing and talented daughters. He is so very proud of you. When he is gone, the tears will flow and the sadness will be great. Grief plainly Sucks. But your memories and love and food will help you get through this difficult time.

I found your wonderful recipe on Foodgawker and felt compelled to write since I’m in the exact same situation. My father is in hospice with stage 4 cancer and getting weaker by the day. I understand it’s hard to go about business as usual. Everyone understands. Stay strong and positive for your dad.
