I just made honey lavender ice cream, too! But glad to see your version … a bit different, and definitely healthier! ;)

one: how you didn’t cave in for a funnel cake is beyond me.
two: who the hell are you to make ice cream with goat cheese? you never cease to amaze woman!
three: you should post a vid of your drop!

Well down you for not giving in to all those temptations. It’s true really that there is hardly anything healthy to be found at those events. Never really gave it much thought but I’m impressed you stayed so strong. Now if I knew I had this gorgeous icecream to look forward too I might have been strong too! ;)

    Mmmmmm… love this recipe!

Healthy food at an amusement park – seems like the ultimate oxymoron! I was surprised, however, when I went to the Calgary Stampede midway to find numerous healthy alternatives. My fav was the pineapple frozen yogurt. OK I admit I wolfed down numerous mini-donuts – but that’s a religious experience which doesn’t count!

I’ve been on a total lavender kick lately. I made lavender lemonade last week, and this ice cream will definitely be made soon!

Oh! Oh! Pretty pictures! It looks SO good. But what is a container of Greek yogurt? They come in all sizes. :) And good girl not getting any junk food on the weekend! I’m pretty good with not getting most junky food like hot dogs and cotton candy and stuff, but gelato? I don’t care. I just don’t care. I’m gonna have me some gelato. So, anyway, congratulations on being healthy despite the temptation!

But wasn’t junk and sugar already a thing of the past? I had this picture of you never ever eating junk food or stuff with white sugar. I mean, you haven’t even used honey in one of your recipes in the last few months, have you? :) But I imagine going to all those places with all the unhealthy food must be terrible! A real test.

I’d like to make it a thing of the past for me but that’s just not going to happen. A reduction is what I’ll have to work on!

That is quite the delicious sounding combination! I only have one problem with this recipe: while it might be best for texture…waiting 2 hours before serving seems a little unrealistic. :)
