Your post prompted me to make the spinach and barley risotto. Amazing! I love spinach and barley, and this was such a lovely way to eat it. Several of these dishes have now made it into my bookmark list, in fact, so thank you for this list.

The alfredo pasta is the best! I haven’t had it in a while, just because I haven’t been really eating pasta. I still have to get good pictures so I can post it!
You bet, it’s a thing! Not only is it a thing, it’s SOMETHING too! You really have to give this a try. And you know what? Doesn’t even matter if your salmon doesn’t look all that nice… in fact, a lot of people will used canned salmon for this, but I could never stand canned salmon. To me, canned salmon and tuna look nothing like the real thing, so I only have them as an emergency resort!
And I’m right with you on the pasta. I think I’m way overdue for a good plate of Alfredo. Maybe when it gets way colder out… mind you, having just spent the last week in 40 degree and super sunny weather, I find it extremely cold here today. Cold and depressing… too bad I’m not really hungry, pasta would definitely be in order!
