I’m doing a whole30 right now too! I’m on day 19 right now. It’s my second one and although they’re hard for me, I always trim way down and feel great!

That is some gorgeous food Sonia! I knew your creativity would overcome the shock of eliminating dairy and grains! :) Can’t wait to see what else you come up with in the next few weeks!

Again…you have produced a stunner…a “gasp” prime example of what “Lenten Lusciousness” can be..SHOULD IT BE?..in its’ purest form. Deprivation?..Me thinkst not…This is dinner, ’nuff said.

Addendum…Pity!..I do not have the gorgeous red cabbage in the fridge..but a lonely “Chou Frisé”..dark green varietal..but NEXT time I’ll go for the superior color “pop” of the red chou. Thankfully..the fennel and fish are present and waiting…Thanks so much for the continuous ideas, even during Lent and all. You are truly amazing.

I’m starting my first Whole30 on March 3, and have been fretting a bit about how difficult it might be. So pleased that my sister (http://www.backallyblog.blogspot.ca/) referred me to your blog today. I’ve never thought to braise fennel before and have an obliging bulb in my fridge right now. Delicious!

Printed the recipe and it’s now posted on my fridge door. Ready for dinner preparation.
