Alright, since I won’t be around for the next 7 days and since, believe it or not, I don’t have access to a laptop (I know, I must be the only blogger in the whole wide world that doesn’t have a laptop), which means I won’t be able to give you ‘live coverage’ of my trip to Cuba, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for me to finally take the 7 link challenge that Heidi at Food Doodles had nominated me for a wee while ago.

And, since I have this big gap to fill, I thought that, instead of flooding you with a never-ending post, I would split it into several chapters and release them over the course of the week.

What do you think? Sounds good? Let’s get started.

First, I think it might be a good thing for me to state the rules of this challenge.

The Rules:

  1. Blogger is nominated to take part
  2. Blogger publishes his/her 7 links on his/her blog – 1 link for each category.
  3. Blogger nominates up to 5 more bloggers to take part.
  4. These bloggers publish their 7 links and nominate another 5 more bloggers
  5. And so it goes on!

 The categories are:

  1. Your most beautiful post
  2. Your most popular post
  3. Your most controversial post
  4. Your most helpful post
  5. A post who’s success surprised you
  6. A post you feel didn’t get the attention it deserved
  7. The post you are most proud of

First up:

YOUR MOST BEAUTIFUL POST

Now that’s a toughie. Really, I wish they’d made the first one a little easier…

The least we can say is they don’t really ease you into this, now do they?

It’s kind of hard for me to answer this question. It would have been a lot easier if the question had been “most beautiful post by another blogger that you really look up to”.

But to name my most beautiful post, as in, by me? That’s a tough one.

If I look at this in terms of photography alone, I think I would have to say my Black Forest Pancakes. I just love this picture right here. Sometimes, I look at it and can’t believe that I was the one who took it, or made the pancakes, for that matter…

The light on this one is just out of this world. I wish the sun was always that cooperative. I think he was in a very good mood that morning. Either that, or he wanted to get a taste of those pancakes…

However, if I take contents and context into consideration, then it would definitely have to be Easter Extravaganza. This post portrays and immortalizes a beautiful day spent with my family members.

There was tons of yummy food everywhere, kids were running all over the place, smiles were illuminating all of our faces.

Did I mention there was food? 😉

Don’t you wish you could still stuff your face like that?  *Sigh* Only a kid could get away with it…

That particular Easter day is the day that will forever remain engraved in my mind as the last Holiday we got to celebrate together as a family, with the entire family being present, I mean…

A memory that I will cherish forever…
