And last but not least… the final chapter in the 7 links challenge.

THE POST YOU ARE THE MOST PROUD OF

OK, that’s a fairly easy one.

I would definitely have to say my Quinoa Cakes and Poached Eggs, because you see, I always had a โ€œthingโ€ for runny egg yolks and find that they look particularly yummy in picture, when captured right.

To me, it almost looks like liquid gold, slowly running down whatever it is that the egg had been sitting on, like a fiery lava. I’ve always been captivated by the way the light just seems to dance with it, making it look as if the light was emanating from the yolk itself.

It had been a personal challenge of mine to try and capture the beauty that I see in a yolk, and I think I pretty much nailed it in the following picture.

Itโ€™s not perfect, but I’m very happy with it.

Also, I have to admit that I am quite proud of the fact that I succeeded at making perfect poached eggs for the first time in my life that day. ๐Ÿ˜€

Add that to the fact that this dish was particularly good, I think it earns it the right to be called the post I am the most proud of.

And that, my friends, concludes my version of the 7 links challenge.

Let me tell you, it’s not as easy as it looks, but it was great fun!

Thank you Heidi for nominating me!
