Second batch was Apple, Cottage Cheese and Walnuts. I used half Buckwheat and Half Whole Wheat flour, which gives the bar a really subtle taste of Buckwheat. That was is a winner, nice and dense, just the way I like them.
I made two batches of mini protein breads today. The first one is Cranberry, Orange and Almonds. They turned out pretty great… Nice and fluffy that one!
Enoki mushrooms and other fresh vegetables (ok, ok, the baby corns aren’t fresh, I admit, but they’re hard to come across in the fresh form, you know…) All ready to go into that fried (without the fried part) rice.
Chicken Fried Rice! That’s what was on the menu tonight. Although, technically, it was not fried. I cooked it in a non-stick pan, using no more than a tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil. Pizza Night! Here’s another one of my favorite foods to experiment with, especially the dough. Still looking for that perfect, chewy yet fluffy, airy and crispy whole grain pizza dough.
