Preheat the oven to 450F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Peel the turnip and cut it into sticks;
Place the sticks in a large mixing bowl; add coconut oil, salt and pepper and toss until all the pieces are well coated.
Place the sticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake in a 450F oven until crispy and golden on the exterior and tender, about 12-15 minutes.
