I was going to say…when I saw this on flickr there is no way it was taken in the rain. Nice that you were able to get such beautiful light on a rough day. The pizza looks great so murphys or not it seems well worth the trouble.

Oh no!! What an awful experience! This pizza looks even more beautiful knowing all the hard work and trouble you had to go through for it! Don’t worry, I think every one has days like that. Actually yesterday was kind of like that for me, but not food-wise. Crazy! I’m so glad it was still edible(and still amazing looking) after all that!

Your post (especially the title: Murphy’s Pizza!) made me laugh out loud. That pizza looks PRETTY DARN GOOD for a story like that. Glad it turned out ok!

I just posted a dessert recipe for grilled peaches, which I’ve never made. Now I HAVE to try your pizza with them! By the way, Seattle is sick of the rain too. :)

Gorgeous pizza idea and despite all the ‘fun’ you had preparing it your pictures turned out beautifully and I bet it tasted even better. I have to give this bbq pizza idea a go!!

Heavens! I’ve never seen peaches on a pizza before. Your photos look stunning. Even if it all went horribly wrong in the process, at the least it was salvageable. Thumbs up to your quick thinking.

Hahhaha – it just wasn’t your day, was it?? Pizza looks fantastic though, you’d never guess all the drama that surrounded it.
