I cannot believe I’ve never put pear in a smoothie!! That sounds so delicious. Usually pears around my house get eaten up while they’re still fairly firm because I can’t stand a mushy pear. I love the cardamom you added too – it’s one of my favorite spices but there’s only a couple places where I use it. You’re inspiring me to get back into smoothies – I really need to, they are such an awesome source of nutrients and so delicious.

I always have fresh smoothies for breakfast. I usually just take whatever fruit I have mixed with cream and choco and I am good…I never thought my morning smoothie can be this flavorful and delicious too. The cardamom and the soy milk really made a big difference in taste and texture. Thanks for sharing!

This looks great! It’s a super energy smoothie, so many good ingredients in there! It must have a nice rich texture with the greek yo and cottage cheese.

Hi Sonia, I am a huge fan of your website. I made a simple variation of this recipe today: A very ripe pear, 2 large spoonfulls of nonfat greek yogurt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Thanks so much for the great idea!

How many calories do you think this has? I’m trying to cut back but this looks too delicious not to try.

I was so pleased with the avo-mango smoothie this morning that I decided to try another one of your smoothies for lunch. This was absolutely delicious too! Actually – today was a total “Healthy Foodie” day since for dinner I had some of the hummus on a wrap with fresh mozzarella, spinach and tomatoes. And I already know what I’ll be having for breakfast again tomorrow! ;)
