7 links challenge, part II
Moving on to #2…
YOUR MOST POPULAR POST
Pheww, that one’s much easier to answer… I wish they had started with that one! All I need to do is let the stats do the talking!
Oh, it feels good being off the hook like that!
Let’s see… what do the stats have to say?
I have 2 options here, Most Commented or Most Viewed.
Doesn’t say Most Popular, but I guess it’s pretty much the same, isn’t it?
So, most viewed, to this day, is my Cheesy Spinach Calzone.
I have to admit that I am quite surprised about that one. I didn’t even think that it would be a strong post.
To be honest, I wasn’t happy with my pictures at all, but I had been asked by Spry Magazine to contribute a recipe to help them with a story they were working on for August, which featured healthy lunch ideas. Since I’d made the calzones specifically to fulfill that request and didn’t have a plan B, I decided to go ahead with the entry anyway.
I think I’m glad I did! Plus, I don’t know, those pictures sorta grew on me since… 😉
Most commented is my Ratatouille Pizza
Now that was a GRRRRRREAT pizza!
But I didn’t think that the post would be that successful either. I mean, I figured most people much preferred pepperoni over zucchini on their pizzas and wouldn’t really go for that idea…
Well, I’m happy to say I was wrong about that! It looks like people like the idea of eggplant and zucchini on their pizzas enough for this one to be featured on The Kitchn.
Need I tell you I was (and still am) extremely flattered? 😀

That picture is great and looks delicious! I’ve been dying to try a calzone (no, I’ve never had one), so that’s definitely on my list. The first one will just have to be a chicken calzone, though. 😉
OMG, you have to try calzones Jessy! I can’t believe you’ve never had one. They are sooooo delicious. Chicken calzone sounds delicious to me. I shall make a chicken version, someday. Chicken and olives. Mental note taken! 😉
Isn’t it surprising to find out what people like? You split your 7 links into multiple posts which was probably a wise decision. My post (also up today) is looooong!
It might be loooooong, but it’s gorgeous!!! 😉 Those macarons, omg! They are stunning. I will have to try my hand at making some, one day… and when I do, I think I will have to go with your recipe. Lavender! The perfect flavor! I took the liberty of adding a link to your post in your comment… that way, I will always know where to find it! 😉
