    I first tried apple and goat cheese together when I made Lauren Zembron’s Harvest Salad with Pumpkin Cider Vinaigrette (from healthyfoodforliving.com). The dressing was so delicious that I would scrape every bit of it off the side of the bowl with slices of honey crisp apple slathered with goat cheese.

    Apple, goat cheese, honey, and pecans in warm oatmeal sounds just as good.

    This is really interesting – I’d NEVER have considered putting cheese on my oatmeal before. It still sounds a bit odd but you seem totally convinced so maybe I’ll have to give it a go! :) Though apples and goat’s cheese are a great combination.

    What a neat idea to add cheese to a sweeter oatmeal. I would have never thought to do it before, but fruit and cheese is a natural taste combination. I like that you include a variety of grains in your oatmeal as well.

    I think this would be excellent with a little rosemary, too! I recently tried a rosemary/raisin cracker with brie at Trader Joes, blew my mind!
